Rajganj, 08th March: International Women’s Day was observed in Belakoba under the initiative of Rajganj Block Mahila Congress Committee of All India Trinamool Mahila Congress.
This day was celebrated on Tuesday at the Devi Chowdhurani meeting room of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block. Women from different parts of Rajganj participated in this event.
In this regard, Uttara Barman, President of Jalpaiguri District Council and Rajganj Block Mahila Congress, said that International Women’s Day is being observed by Mahila Trinamool Congress across the state today. Accordingly, the day was celebrated today by the Rajganj branch.
President of Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Purnima Roy, Block Education member Rupali Dey, Shikarpur Gram Panchayat Pradhan Ranjita Roy, Archana Roy Barman, Anita Roy, Ranjana Roy, and others were present at the programme.
