Siliguri, 03rd December: The International Day of Disabled Persons was celebrated all over the country as well as in Siliguri on Friday. Two processions were taken out by Paschimbanga Rajya Pratibandhi Sammilani and North Bengal Handicapped Rehabilitation Society. The procession toured various parts of the city.
Board of Administrators of SMC Ranjan Sarkar, Manik Dey, Nantu Pal and others were present. Moni Thapa, a member of the Paschimbanga Rajya Pratibandhi Sammilani, said that the rights of disabled persons are the same as that of the others. In order to spread this message, they held today’s rally in the city.
