Indo-Nepal border closed for three days due to elections in Nepal

Kharibari, 11th May: The India-Nepal border has been sealed for three days from May 10-13, due to the local bodies’ election on May 13. Panitanki border in Kharibari has been closed for traffic since Wednesday.
According to the reports of the Nepal administration, the border has been closed for two days, safeguarding security. Meanwhile, local traders and toto drivers are facing problems due to the closure of the border. 
The local vendors stated that the lockdown and now the closure of the border will severely impact business of both countries.
