India under Lockdown: Belakoba Range office takes initiatives to help 600 families

Rajganj, 27th March: In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, the forest workers of the Belakoba Range Office assisted the poor families in Rajganj. Food items were handed over to around 600 families of 20 villages.
Belakoba Range officer Sanjay Dutta stated that the nation-wide lockdown in the wake of rising Covid-19 cases has started affecting the daily wagers and their families. In this regard, 10 kgs of rice, 500 grams of pulses, 500 grams of soybean and 2 kgs of potatoes were provided to the poor after discussing with the Joint Forest Management Committee
