Siliguri, 24th September: LPG gas company Indane launched lightweight plastic cylinders for the convenience of women. New gas cylinders were handed over to around 100 customers today.
WBSO Executive Director and State Head Paritosh Bharat and Indian Oil Chief General Manager Abhijit Dey officially inaugurated the new initiative at Narayani Indane Gas Agency in Burdwan Road, on Friday.
Abhijit Dey, Chief General Manager of Indian Oil, said that from now on, customers have to apply for a new connection from any distributor to get this facility. He further said that the 10 kg and 5 kg cylinders are made entirely of plastic. Its lightweight is highly convenient for housewives.
