Siliguri, 31st May: After Trinamool candidates submitted nominations for nine seats of Siliguri Divisional Council Election today, President of Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress Papiya Ghosh claimed that the Left-Congress would be swept away after the election. “A tsunami will come in a month’s time,” she added.
The candidates along with the party supporters marched from Mallaguri and filed their nominations at the SDO office. Apart from Papiya Ghosh, TMC district leaders, councilors and Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb were also present to boost the morale of the candidates.
