News desk: North Bengal will most likely witness heavy rain from Tuesday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert till the upcoming Saturday.
Since Monday morning, sporadic rains have begun in several areas of North Bengal. Reportedly, the districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, and Jalpaiguri are anticipated to experience heavy to very severe rainfall starting tomorrow and sustaining up to Wednesday and Thursday.
