Rajganj, 24th February: Forest workers of Belakoba Range confiscated Burma teak wooden furniture worth around Rs 15 lakhs from a truck in Fulbari.
According to Belakoba Range sources, they received a tip-off that the truck would smuggle furniture from Mizoram to Andhra Pradesh illegally. Accordingly, the truck was detained in the Fulbari area on Thursday morning. Police took the truck into custody along with the timber. However, the truck driver managed to escape.
