All ICICI Bank customers will now need to pay Rs 50 to use ATM services at the ICICI bank ATM starting November 01.
ICICI Bank has announced that all their customers will need to pay the convenience fees when:
1. Depositing cash non-banking hours (i.e. between 6 pm and 8 am) every working day
2. Depositing cash during holidays
Furthermore, if any ICICI Bank customer deposits more than Rs 10,000 in a month, a separate convenience fee will be charged.
However, the bank will not charge the special convenience fees from Senior Citizens, Basic savings account holder, Jan Dhan accounts, Visually impaired account holders and Students.
It is to be noted that the Axis Bank has already started charging Rs 50 for depositing cash via ATMs, during non-working hours and holidays from August 01 of this year. Besides, public sector banks have started charging Rs 150 per cash withdrawal and Rs 40 for depositing cash, after a limit.
