Alipurduar, 01st September: Sensation prevailed after a huge python was rescued in the Khir Kot area adjacent to Mujnai in Falakata block of Alipurduar district.
According to local sources, the python got entangled inside a net on Wednesday morning. The locals informed the forest department after noticing the python. Upon receiving the news, the Dalgaon range workers reached the spot and rescued the reptile. The rescued python will be released into the Dalgaon forest.
