Phansidewa, 10th April: Vehicular movement has been disrupted after a major crack was spotted on the Ghoshpukur flyover of Phansidewa on Sunday. Apparently, despite seeing the crack, vehicles continued to ply the flyover for a long time. However, the Ghoshpukur Traffic Police, acting promptly, stopped all traffic on the flyover connecting National Highway-31(D) under the Ghoshpukur-Salasabari project.
Locals alleged that they had raised their voices many times in the past regarding the crack in the flyover. A similar crack appeared on the Kantibhita flyover in August last year. Meanwhile, the entire matter has been reported to the National Highway Management.
