Kharibari, 21st September: Sensation prevailed after a wild elephant damaged some houses as well as destroyed crops in the Manjoyjote area under the Kharibari block.
According to the information received, a wild elephant entered the aforementioned area today and damaged some houses. Crops were also destroyed in the incident. The wild animal then returned to the woods.
