Rajganj, 28th February: On Tuesday night, a massive fire broke out in a residence located in Laxmi Jamadar Gachh under the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. However, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the house of Ravi Roy, a resident of the said area, on Tuesday night. Ravi Roy’s daughter-in-law was cooking when subsequently he spotted the raging inferno in the kitchen. Promptly, the family members and locals attempted to douse the fire.
Upon receiving the news, the cops of the Ambari Outpost and a fire engine from Fulbari arrived at the spot. After relentless efforts, the fire department brought the prevailing situation under control. Consequently, the kitchen was burnt down. However, the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
