Siliguri, 22nd July: The higher secondary results were announced on Thursday. Ananya Purkayat of Siliguri secured the eighth position in the state with a total of 492 marks.
Ananya Purkayat is a student of Jyotsnamayee High School in Siliguri. She secured the fifth position in the state in her Madhyamik examinations. Apart from academics, she has an interest in dance, music, and painting.
Incidentally, due to the pandemic situation, the higher secondary examination was suspended this year. Ananya’s parents are extremely happy with their daughter’s success.
On the other hand, Primary Council chairman Dr Suprakash Roy and the officials of the School Inspector’s Office reached Ananya’s house and conveyed her greetings on behalf of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
