Pokhriabong, 15th June: Addressing a meeting held on behalf of Nava Swastika Pariwar Samaripani, it was alleged that not a single person from the health department has come to check the health of the people living in quarantine in Pokhriabong till now. The Surveillance Committee was also accused of not taking any initiative regarding the matter.
The meeting, conducted under the leadership of Dev Kumar Subba, was attended by the Asha Karmis (ICDS workers), Surveillance Committee and the locals in Pokhriabong.
The speakers further appealed to the concerned departmental representatives present in the meeting to take the appropriate action in this regard.
