Islampur, 05th February: A truck driver was severely injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a trailer at the Sufalgach area of Sonapur Gram Panchayat under Chopra Police Station.
Reportedly, repair work is underway at the Sufalgach National Highway and only a portion of the road is open for the commuters. The truck collided head-on with the trailer while driving through the narrow road.
Upon receiving the news, the Chopra police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured driver, and took him to the primary health centre. The incident created traffic congestion in the area.
