Siliguri, 10th September: Haiderpara Sporting Club started preparations for the 52nd Durga Puja through Khamba Puja (pillar worship).
This time, the theme of Haiderpara Sporting Club is ‘Agamanir Sanai Baje, Sajbe Uma Natun Saje’. This club organizes one of the big-budget pujas of Siliguri. Like last time, the puja will be organized following the COVID rules.
This year, the puja committee will build the puja mandap based on the traditional musical instrument Shehnai. There will be various crafts on shehnai inside the mandap.
In this regard, club member Nimai Pal said that visitors will enter the mandap following all COVID protocols.
