Siliguri, 17th August: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista took a jibe toward the opposition party TMC after arriving at the Bagdogra Airport from Delhi, today.
The MP said that the ED has been continuously investigating and raiding all the scams done by the political leaders. He claimed that slowly, the money looted by the ‘criminal politicians’ is coming to light and thus justice is being served. He further stated that a team of ED and CBI will also reach North Bengal and investigate the Rs 700 crore GTA scam soon.
The MP Raju Bista alleged a scam of Rs 700 crore in the GTA which was further confirmed by the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself. According to the MP, the CM addressed a meeting and talked about how the amount of Rs 700 crore was allotted for the development of the hills but could not see any kinds of work done. Thus, alleging a scam in the GTA region.
At the same time, Bista said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be coming to Siliguri tomorrow. During this, Rajnath Singh will meet the families of the soldiers who were martyred in the Manipur landslide incident.
