Darjeeling, 09th January: The Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Chairman, Anit Thapa, formally laid the foundation stone for the paved road under the Public Works Department from Rongtong-Shivakhola to Mahaldiram.
According to the information received, the 17.10 km long road will be constructed at a cost of Rs 22.85 crore. The GJMM President Binay Tamang, Principal Secretary Surendra Gupta, Kurseong MLA Dr Rohit Sharma, and many other individuals were present, today.
