Siliguri, 24th January: The Greater Siliguri Khudra Byabsayi Samiti felicitated Bharati Ghosh on winning the Banga Ratna Samman.
The members of the association including the association President Parimal Mitra, Secretary Biplab Roy Muhuri along with other members of the association visited her residence, on Friday, along with flowers and sweets.
On the other hand, Bharati Ghosh expressed her gratitude and stated that such an initiative on behalf of the State Government was completely unexpected. She further stated that she wants to be involved in social work in the future.
