Goutam Deb laid the foundation stone for 400-meter long road construction work in SMC’s Ward No. 11

Siliguri, 12th March: On Thursday, State Tourism Minister, Goutam Deb, laid the foundation stone for the 400-meter long road construction work. Under the aegis of the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA), the 400-meter long road is being constructed from Bidhan Road to Bappi Store in the Khudiram Pally area under Siliguri Municipal Corporation’s Ward No. 11.


It has been reported that a target of 210 days has been set to complete the construction work of the road. The road construction work will be completed at a cost of 43 lakh rupees. The SJDA Chairman Bijay Chandra Barman, Trinamool Darjeeling District President Ranjan Sarkar, Councillor Nantu Paul and many other dignitaries were present during the event.

Minister Goutam Deb stated that the development works are being conducted in Siliguri under the leadership of the State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He also stated that further development works will be conducted in various wards of the SMC.
