Naxalbari, 25th April: Following the instructions of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Goutam Deb took detailed information about the fire break out at the Chowrangi more of Naxalbari Bazaar, on Sunday.
It is noteworthy that at around 3 am on Saturday, two shops situated in the said area caught fire, and goods worth lakhs were destroyed.
Following this, minister Goutam Deb arrived to inspect the site today. He also assured all possible help by interacting with the shopkeepers. He said that a lot of damage has occurred due to the fire break-out. However, the fire was contained in time. He claimed that a detailed report of the fire incident will be sent to CM Mamata Banerjee. Necessary efforts will be made to compensate for the damage caused by the fire.
Meanwhile, Goutam Deb said that he will hold an important meeting at North Bengal Medical College tomorrow regarding the increase in the number of coronavirus cases. He also urged all to wear masks.
