Siliguri, 12th January: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, on Wednesday, declared their full support for the Trinamool Congress candidates standing from all 47 wards under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
While addressing the media at the party office in Siliguri’s Dagapur, GJM leader Roshan Giri said that the party has allied with the Trinamool Congress and hence no candidate will be electing from the Morcha this election. Furthermore, if the party leaders are asked to be a part of the campaign, they will be present, he further added.
He alleged the BJP government of not being capable of meeting the demands of the people of the hills for a very long time. Hence the Morcha will no longer be in their support.
