Siliguri, 30th May: The general meeting of the Siliguri Tea Auction Committee was held today on various topics. In today’s meeting, the committee presented the financial accounts for the entire year to its members. On the occasion, Committee chairman Kamal Kishore Tiwari stated that due to the pandemic, the general meeting was temporarily suspended.
The committee stated that in the previous year the Siliguri Tea Auction Committee had fulfilled its long-standing vision and created a new record by exporting 150 million tonnes of tea. At the end of the meeting, on completion of the tenure of Siliguri Tea Auction Committee Secretary, P. K. Das was felicitated and given a farewell today.
