Rajganj, 05th February: While the new overbridge on Fulbari-Gajoldoba Canal Road serves as a boon for the tourists travelling to Gajaldoba, it has become a bane for the businessmen of Ambari Railway Gate.
It is to be noted, the Chief Minister inaugurated the overbridge via remote control from the platform of Uttarbang Utsav at Baghajatin Park in Siliguri, on February 01.
Scratching off the stoppage at the Ambari-Falakata rail gate, the overbridge has slashed the time taken to travel from Siliguri to Gajaldoba. However, with no tourists stopping by the area, the traders of Ambari Rail Gate are struggling to run their business.
According to the traders, the construction of the overbridge has no doubt improved communication, however, they are facing extreme losses and are having a hard time supporting their family.
