Bagdogra, 21st August: A freight truck lost control and met with an accident at Asian Highway-2 in Bagdogra Singhijhora, on Saturday early morning.
It has been learned that the truck was heading towards Siliguri from Naxalbari this morning. At that time, the vehicle lost control on Asian Highway 2 and hit the divider. The driver and conductor were severely injured in the incident. They were rescued and admitted to Bagdogra Primary Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Bagdogra police reached the spot after receiving the news. The police recovered the truck and started an investigation into the incident.
