Siliguri, 15th July: The central government has decided to provide free COVID-19 booster doses to citizens above 18 years of age from July 15 till the next 75 days free of cost. The drive is being held as part of the government’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence.
On the instructions of the West Bengal Health Department, the free booster dose campaign is being administered at Siliguri District Hospital. A long queue of people was seen today for the booster dose. The general public appreciated this decision of the government. Reportedly this booster dose will be given in all the vaccination centres.
