Jalpaiguri, 24th May: Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police arrested four miscreants with firearms and sharp weapons. The accused have been identified as Totan Das, Shubhankar Roy, Somnath Das and Shubham Raut.
Reportedly, the police received a tip-off regarding a group of miscreants that had gathered in the area adjacent to Rajbari area. Acting promptly, the police launched a campaign and nabbed four miscreants from the spot. However, many dacoits fled as soon as the police arrived. A firearm, cartridges, and sharp-edged weapons were recovered from the accused. They were produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
