Siliguri, 27th April: A team of SOG and NJP Police Station personnel launched an operation on Tuesday in Porajhar area and nabbed four drugs peddlers. One kilogram of brown sugar estimated to be worth more than Rs 2 crore was recovered from their possession.
The arrested have been identified as Abdul Razzaq, Musidul Mandal, Habibur Sheikh and Atikul Islam. According to police sources, the four men supplied drugs to various places in North Bengal. The accused were produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
