Siliguri, 30th August: Based on a tip-off, the Bhaktinagar police, on Saturday night, launched operations at the Prakash Nagar area and arrested four men along with 260 grams of brown sugar. The arrested accused have been identified as Sanjit Raut, Ankit Sharma, Mohammad Siraj, and Tanmoy Ghosh.
Two motorcycles were detained in the incident. The market value of the recovered brown sugar is estimated to be around 2 lakh rupees.
The arrested accused individuals were produced before the Jalpaiguri court today.
