Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus after he visited a hospital for some other reason.
On Monday, Mukherjee took to Twitter and made the announcement. He wrote, “on a visit to the hospital for a separate procedure, I have tested positive for COVID19 today.”

The former President also appealed to all who came in contact with him in the last week to self isolate and get tested for the virus.
