Cooch Behar, 03rd February: Former KLO members and linkman protested in front of the district headquarters in Cooch Behar demanding jobs. They took out a rally and staged demonstrations in front of the District Magistrate’s office and also submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister in this regard.
The former KLO members said that although the CM assured them to provide jobs, no appropriate steps have been taken so far. Hence, they issued a memorandum demanding jobs. They warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
