Phansidewa, 6 February: Sensation prevailed after a locally made pistol was recovered from a farm in the Rupandighi area of Phansidewa.
Reportedly, the firearm was found by the locals while working on the field, today morning. Police were immediately informed.
It is being speculated that the firearm must belong to Bangladeshi cattle smugglers who tend to use the route. The Phasidewa Police immediately reached the spot and confiscated the pistol. Meanwhile, terror gripped the entire village after the incident came to light.
