Siliguri, 15th November: Sensation prevailed after a fire broke out at a multi-story building in Ward No. 40 adjacent to Siliguri’s Sevoke Road, on Sunday.
Reportedly, black smoke was sighted coming out of the building at around noon today. Following which, the fire brigade was informed. Upon receiving the news, two fire engines and the Bhaktinagar police reached the spot and extinguished the fire after an hour of effort.
Jalpaiguri District Fire Officer Pradeep Sarkar said that no casualties have been reported in the incident as of now. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
