Siliguri, 16th February: An 11th standard student Khushi Roy conducted the rituals to worship Goddess Saraswati at Haiderpara Buddhabharati High School. Such an initiative was taken to eradicate gender inequality.
Swapnendu Nandi, the headmaster of Buddha Bharati High School, adopted such a unique initiative to provide a different dimension to the puja this year. He said that Puja can also be done without male priests. Nandi added that more such initiatives will be taken in the future.
