Siliguri, 19th June: Bipul Roy, a jawan from Alipurduar Bhatibari’s Bindipara, lost his life in a clash with the Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh.
Reportedly, his body reached Alipurduar yesterday. The wife and daughter of the martyred jawan landed at Siliguri Bagdogra airport today. Following which, they left for Alipurduar to perform his last rites.
As per the information, Bipul Roy was transferred to Ladakh, several days ago and he used to stay in Meerut with his wife and daughter.
