Fake examinees at W.B.P Recruitment exams: Siliguri Metropolitan Police arrest link man from Itahar

Siliguri, 31st May: The cops of Matigara police station under Siliguri Metropolitan Police arrested a link man from Itahar in connection to the W.B.P Recruitment examinations fraud case. The arrested has been identified as Raja Basak. 
It is to be noted, a total of fifteen fake examinees were arrested for posing as candidates appearing in the final written examination for the post of constable of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board 2020 which took place in Siliguri Deshbandhu Hindi High School, on May 22. After presenting the accused in court, the police took all fifteen into remand for further investigation. 
During the intense interrogation, Raja Basak’s name came to the fore. The Matigara police immediately left for Itahar and arrested Raja Basak and brought him to Siliguri. He was presented in the Siliguri court today. The court sent the accused Raja Basak to police remand for five days.
