Jalpaiguri, 27th October: Train services are likely to commence soon which will help connect Bangladesh Chilahati station and Haldibari station in India. The engine trial run was done today on behalf of Bangladesh railway officials. Earlier, on October 8, a successful trial run of the railway engine was done by India.
Reportedly, thousands of people gathered at the border to watch the trial run today.
Mohammad Abdul Rahim, Project Director and Divisional Engineer of the Bangladesh Railway Department said that they had a successful trial today.
