Endangered turtle rescued from Fuleswari River

Siliguri, 30th July: An endangered species of turtle was rescued while cleaning the Fuleswari river between Ward No. 20 and 23 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation this morning. The sanitation workers found the reptile and informed the Ward No. 23 Councilor Lakshmi Paul. 


In this context, Councilor Paul stated that the turtle was rescued while the workers were cleaning the river. Furthermore, following the Forest Department’s direction, the turtle will be kept in Siliguri Park and be monitored.
