Siliguri, 14th February: The Employees’ Union of Siliguri Municipal Corporation submitted a memorandum to Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya today, in support of various demands.
Addressing the media, Union member Jeevan Lal stated that the memorandum was submitted in support of various demands such as salary hike of the employees of SMC, new Group D appointments and promotions.
On the other hand, the Mayor assured that their demands will be raised and resolved at the SMC meeting to be held on the 28th of the upcoming month.
