Alipurduar, 29th June: Late Friday night, elephants attacked a house in the Bania Line area of Dalsingpara, causing significant damage. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when a wild elephant targeted several houses in the vicinity.
Man Bahadur Lama and his wife, residents of the area, managed to escape their home just in time, narrowly avoiding injury. Their house was completely destroyed by the elephant. The attack spanned late Friday night into early Saturday morning, creating a tense situation for the local community.
