Siliguri, 15th April: Sensation prevailed after an electric pole near the Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium area in Bidhan Road caught fire, today.
Upon receiving the news, a fire engine reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The electricity department officials also reached the scene and cut the power off immediately. No casualties have been reported in the incident.
