Rajganj, 27th May: An elderly woman was found hanging from the noose in Devi Thakurbari area in Kukurjan of Rajganj. The deceased has been identified as Motibala Adhikari (72).
Reportedly, she committed suicide by hanging herself after her son left for work on Thursday afternoon. The reason for the suicide is still unknown to her family.
Meanwhile, Rajganj police reached the spot and recovered the body. Today the body was sent to Jalpaiguri for post-mortem.
