Cooch Behar, 20th April: A youth, allegedly referring him as the Panchayat Head’s nephew, robbed an elderly. The outrageous incident surfaced from the Tufanganj area under Cooch Behar district.
As per the report, the elderly, Tari Mandal, is a resident of Tufanganj-1 Block under Fulbari-2 Gram Panchayat area. She was on her way back home after withdrawing her widow’s allowance from a bank in Tufanganj.
