Siliguri, 03rd February: A Marathon run is likely to be organized on February 07 on behalf of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) NJP Fulbari Local Committee.
Reportedly, the marathon will commence from Fulbari Haat at 7 am. After visiting different areas of Fulbari and NJP, the marathon will conclude at Shaktigarh RR Primary School premises.
The winner will be awarded 5 thousand rupees, second prize is 3 thousand rupees, third prize is 2 thousand rupees, fourth and fifth prizes are one thousand rupees and the next seven will be awarded 500 rupees each.
DYFI leader Tapas Chatterjee said that such an initiative has been taken protesting against the partitions that have started across the country in the name of religion.
