DYFI submitted a memorandum at Siliguri police station against drug menace

Siliguri, 18th July: Drug addiction, especially among the younger generation, has become one of the rising menaces in the city. Highlighting this, the DYFI Siliguri South-East Local Committee submitted a memorandum at the Siliguri police station urging to check the drugs and gambling dens dauntlessly prevailing in the city. They demanded strict action against all involved in such a crime.


Today, the DYFI members also staged a protest in front of the police station. DYFI Secretary Udayan Dasgupta said that if the police administration fails to take any action at the earliest, a massive agitation will be initiated on their behalf.
