DYFI and SFI protested in front of North Bengal University in support of various demands

Siliguri, 05th August: Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and Students' Federation of India (SFI) staged a protest in support of various demands, including the resignation of state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the current vice-chancellor of North Bengal University.

The two organizations had planned to submit a memorandum in support of various demands in the North Bengal University but failed to do so when the police dispersed off the mob. After this, the activist-supporters of DYFI and SFI protested in front of gate No. 03 of the university.

On the other hand, a large police force of Matigara police station was already present in the university campus to prevent any untoward incidents.
