Alipurduar, 28th June: Yuba Sangha Kalibari of Alipurduar has commenced preparations for this year’s Durga Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja.’ Celebrating its 76th year, the Puja will feature a mandap modeled after the Prem Mandir of Vrindavan.
The theme aims to bring the essence of the Prem Mandir to Alipurduar, offering an opportunity for those unable to visit Vrindavan to experience its grandeur locally. The organizers are focused on recreating the spiritual ambiance of the Prem Mandir.
The ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony was attended by club members and local dignitaries, marking the beginning of the festive preparations.
