Siliguri, 10th October: Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Shikha Chatterjee distributed clothes among the needy in the Palpara area of Ward No. 42 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation. She handed over new clothes to around 80 people today.
Shikha Chatterjee said that such an initiative was taken as many families are in financial crisis due to COVID-19. Hence, the new clothes were distributed ti them as puja gifts. Other BJP leaders including Rupesh Sinha, Hiya Roy, Paritosh Roy, Bikash Basak were present at the programme.
