Siliguri, 24th January: A person, identified as Sahil Akhtar Ashrafi, was arrested by the Bidhan Nagar police with a dumper laden with illegal stones.
The Bidhan Nagar police received a tip-off and conducted a campaign in the Bheembar area of Phansidewa Block yesterday. Following which, a dumper laden with illegal stones was detained.
The driver of the dumper was arrested for not having any valid legal documents. The accused will be presented at the Siliguri Court today.
